What is speaker mentoring?
This year, we're introducing speaker mentorship for those new to presenting or who just need a little guidance from an experienced IDUG member. Get help planning the scope of your session, creating an agenda, and practicing. If you have an idea to share, but you're nervous about jumping into the spotlight, this a great opportunity.
How does it work?
When you submit your abstract, you can check the mentorship box to let us know you're interested. If you're selected to present, we'll help connect you with a mentor. You can also fill out the form below.
The Conference Planning Committee will assign mentors, but if you have a mentor in mind, you can let us know and we will do our best to connect you.
Looking ahead
Bringing together seasoned experts and up-and-coming data professionals is a big part of the IDUG mission. We plan to integrate speaker mentoring into other future conferences. Stay tuned for more information.
